Our Priorities
Education
As a former public school teacher, I am passionate about the crucial role public education plays in our community. Our children are our greatest asset, and I will fight to maintain the excellent education Kansans expect from our public schools.
Freedom
Each and every Kansan has innate value, personal liberty, and the right to make private medical decisions without government interference. I firmly believe there is no room for government involvement in these personal decisions. As a member of the Kansas House of Representatives, I will fight against efforts to interfere in our personal medical decisions.
Safety
Kansans deserve to feel safe when they go to school, attend a parade, or shop at the mall. Along with a strong majority of Kansans, I believe in common-sense solutions that will help reduce gun violence and keep firearms away from dangerous people. I will work with everyone who is committed to addressing this issue.
Economy
Thanks to prudent fiscal management by Governor Laura Kelly, our state is in a strong position to pursue responsible, meaningful, sustainable tax relief that benefits all Kansans. I support responsible tax cuts for all, especially hard-working Kansas families. We cannot afford to take our state back to the days of fiscal mismanagement, chronically underfunded schools, crumbling roads, and crippling debt by giving large tax cuts to big corporations and their wealthy shareholders . I will advocate for tax policies that truly grow Kansas’ economy.
Healthcare
Kansans are tired of our federal income taxes going to pay for healthcare in other states while the Kansas Legislature allows hundreds of thousands of Kansas children are uninsured and underinsured. Expanding KanCare is sound fiscal policy that will reduce healthcare costs for small businesses and provide access to health care for Kansas families.
